We’d walked through the casino a lot last year when we were staying in the Luxor. There will not be many hotels directly on the Strip that can beat Excalibur on price. The hotel is at the lower scale although ideally situated on the strip. The focus was on cost for this holiday so Cosmopolitan and Bellagio etc. We stayed here on our 3rd visit to Vegas. We would have no hesitation staying here again. This is not a hotel that is going to 'wow' you, but it's clean and it does the trick. Appreciated the snacks and drinks available. We are MGM Gold Rewards members and they have a VIP Lounge that is a nice touch. The pool was open and it seemed to be a fairly nice pool area. The casino floor is easy to navigate and there are many food options on the property. We had no noise issues which was a blessing as it was a very busy weekend with a lot of families. The water pressure was a bit soft but it was ok. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we had no issues with hot water. The room was basic but had some upgrades. The Resort Tower is the older of the two towers. We like physical key cards, so we popped to the desk upon arrival to receive these. We had a late arrival so I tried mobile check-in. We had a Resort Tower king room on the 28th floor with a view out to the Tropicana and MGM Grand. We stayed over a busy weekend in early March. This is our third time staying at The Excalibur.
